Old Trafford is an all-seater football stadium in the Trafford borough of Greater Manchester, England, and the home of Premier League club Manchester United.

Back in 2003, I developed the idea of using a portfolio of horse racing systems - essentially several systems into one package.

When following systems you should never rely on just one or two golden geese to lay golden eggs. It is far better to treat horse racing systems like trading on the stock market and keep a portfolio of diverse systems.

It will take you time to develop a good portfolio, but a good place to start is with your own methods and systems. If you can read form, and understand the concept of value, then you can develop your own methods of making good selections.

When creating your portfolio you need to spend time testing different systems and strategies until you find the ones that make a profit. You are looking for around 10-12 different methods.

After you have your systems then paper-trade the methods for at least three months to test their profitability. This means you should follow a method or tipster or system for three months to see if theoretically you would have made a profit.

Once you are happy with the performance of a particular method then proceed to award it a place in your portfolio, and start trading with actual cash.

The reason for this portfolio approach is to mirror what many stock market traders have done for many years in the City, which essentially spreads the risk.

Free Horse Racing System - A Clever Doubles Plan and Staking System

This system should be regarded as a weekly operation. It involves backing six forecast favorites a day in fifteen win doubles, using the staking arrangement 1-2-3-4-5-6 from Monday to Saturday, but returning to one point after any particular winning double. Here's how it works. The basis for the day's six selections can be variable - e.g:

1. The six shortest priced forecast favorites using all the days' meetings.
2. The forecast favorites of the first six non-handicap races using all the days meeting.
3. The six most valuable races of the day etc.

I use the forecast favorites of the first six races of the principle meeting of the day from my daily newspaper.

Staking method

First of all, arrangement of the bets. Number the selections 1 to 6. Each day then the fifteen doubles will be on the horses 1&2, 1&3, 1&4, 1&5, 1&6, 2&3, 2&4, 2&5, 2&6, 3&4, 3&5, 3&6, 4&5, 4&6, 5&6.
It is useful to make a weekly chart, placing the fifteen doubles numbers across the top and the days Monday to Saturday down the left-hand column.

On Monday the stake will be one point to win on each bet, i.e. a total stake of fifteen points. If there are no winners, or only one, and, therefore, no winning doubles, the stakes on the second day will be two points on each bet, a total stake of 30 points.

Suppose that on the second day four horses numbers 1,3,4,5 - won, this would give six winning doubles 1&3, 1&4, 1&5, 3&4, 3&5, 4 &5. On the next day, the stakes of the six winning doubles bets would now revert to one point and the stakes on the other nine doubles would now be 3 points and so on.

The highest stake, which should be placed, is six points, which will be on a Saturday for any double bet, which has not won during the previous five days.

Over a period I have found this a very lucrative method.

7 Race Tracks Where the Effect of the Draw Can Help You Find More Winners

One thing that is often over looked when studying form is the draw. Which stall a horse is drawn in can, on some courses, massively influence that particular horses chance of winning. I have analysed the effect of the draw at some courses. Here is the data in an easy to use form, so that the effect of the draw can help you pick more winners

The draw can have a significant effect on the outcome of races at certain courses. Here are seven ways you can use the unique characteristics of certain UK racecourses to pick more winners.

1. Chester is one of the tightest tracks in England. Look at fancied horses drawn 1, 2 and 3 in all distances. Horses with a low (inside) draw have a massive advantage in 5f races at Chester. The course is circular and horses starting on the inside have less distance to run and are less likely to meet trouble in running.

2. Thirsk. Look for fancied horses drawn in the highest 3 traps in sprint races. There is a significant advantage for high numbers on the straight course, more pronounced when the ground is fast. Low numbers best at 7f & 1m.

3. Beverley. High numbers up to 8 furlongs-noticeably favoured in 5f races. Perhaps less well-known is that the high draw advantage is also prominent over seven furlongs without having such a significant impact on the odds available and so offers some good value betting opportunities.

4. Pontefract. Look for fancied horses drawn low numbers in sprint races.

5. Lingfield. Low numbers slightly favoured in sprints on the all-weather course. On the turf course high numbers appear to be favoured.

6. Epsom Downs. High numbers are strongly favoured over five furlongs.

7. Windsor. On the figure of eight course, high numbers have a distinct advantage for sprint races on good or fast going.

All of these tracks are specialist tracks so a previous course win is also wort looking out for. Combine this with a favourable draw and you are onto a winner.

Roulette Assault has a feature called "foreplay mode" that does this. You can set the robot up to spin the roulette wheel and collect numbers and play them against a fictitious game. In other words, it plays the game inside itself while keeping track of the balance and settings you have set.

Roulette Assault can also store the previous numbers using the History feature. Recording the history will save the player a lot of time because it can take several hours to record 30,000 or more "real money" spins to test a system. The best part is that when you are satisfied with the number of spins you have recorded, you can then tweak whatever system and settings you want to use and run it against the analyzer. The analyzer is another great feature.

Although there are several more features that Roulette Assault offers, I will not go over them here because they are very "nice-to-have", but are explained in great detail on the Roulette Assault website, and also on my review website. - taking any certifications or exams in your field.

The best way to get the experience you need to be a successful soccer coach is to volunteer at your local club. Maybe you can help out in training, whatever you can get, take it - it will be valuable no matter what. Often it is easier to get coaching experience for kids than it is for adults. Even though kids may not be as attentive and present other challenges, it is a joy to teach kids so do not overlook these types of opportunities.

Increasing your knowledge is something that you also owe to yourself. Your own coaching experience will only show you one viewpoint.
