Football Systems Reviews
Secrets Football System -
Many papers and articles have been written about forecasting the outcome of sporting events, various methods have been used, the predominant methods in use are statistical, with a smaller proportion using soft computing techniques (ie Neural Nets, Fuzzy Logic, adaptive networks, and Genetic algorithms). This book explores the creation of Fuzzy Inference Systems to forecast English Football league outcomes using Clustering techniques. It attempts to achieve at least the results obtained by Statistical techniques and Fuzzy Inference systems to date, both of which achieved 64% forecast performance. The training and test datasets were taken from 22 seasons of fixtures (1984 to 2005). A specific genetic optimisation procedure called ?radii competition? is used to achieve the best forecast performance. The data includes, 12 factors about each team, including historical and current facts to build a profile of each team. This profile enables the program to set relative strengths. The book succeeds in its goal by exceeding the performance achieved by previous statistical and fuzzy models by 10%, maximum forecast performance
achieved: 74.21%.

Ronaldo News

Premier League - Liverpool 'could have signed Ronaldo

Gerard Houllier has admitted that he turned down the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo when he was Liverpool manager back in 2003.

The Frenchman, who will return to Anfield for the first time as an opposing manager with his Aston Villa side on Monday night, said that Ronaldo's wage demands and the fact that he already had Harry Kewell were behind his decision to not sign the Portuguese winger.

Ronaldo, then with Sporting Lisbon, instead signed for rivals Manchester United for £12.24 million and after six hugely successful seasons at Old Trafford, he moved to Real Madrid for a world record fee of £80m.

Bidding for a World Cup shock: David Cameron, Prince William and David Beckham woo FIFA

The circus is in town here this week but nothing being witnessed beneath the big top that dominates Zurich’s waterfront could possibly compare to the pure spectacle of this World Cup bidding process.

It is an extraordinary scene amid the ice and snow. World leaders, Hollywood stars and sporting greats are buzzing from hotel lobby to meeting room in pursuit of the 22 or 23 members of the FIFA executive committee who will vote tomorrow on the location of the tournaments in 2018 and 2022.

Some of the most powerful men on the planet are all but begging for football’s biggest prize. For England’s bid team, it amounted to a momentous day of lobbying — the arrival of their three lions, the men who have added that X-factor to England’s campaign.

If it was a campaign that at one stage was being severely disrupted by scandal and controversy, it is now being carefully orchestrated by a skilled band of administrators.

While the Russians remained coy about whether Vladimir Putin would even make it, Prince William, David Cameron and David Beckham landed in Zurich with only one mission in mind.

Old Trafford

Old Trafford
is an all-seater football stadium in the Trafford borough of Greater Manchester, England, and the home of Premier League club Manchester United.

With space for 75,957 spectators,[1] Old Trafford has the second-largest capacity of any English football stadium after Wembley Stadium, the third-largest of any stadium in the United Kingdom, and the eleventh-largest in Europe. The stadium is approximately 0.5 miles (0.8 km) from Old Trafford Cricket Ground and the adjacent Manchester Metrolink tram station.

The ground, given the nickname the Theatre of Dreams by Bobby Charlton, has been United's permanent residence since 1910, with the exception of an eight-year absence from 1941 to 1949, following the bombing of the stadium in the Second World War. During this period, the club shared Maine Road with local rivals, Manchester City. The ground underwent several expansions in the 1990s and 2000s, most notably the addition of extra tiers to the North, West and East stands which served to return the ground almost to its original capacity of 80,000. Future expansion is likely to involve the addition of a second tier to the South Stand, which would raise the capacity to over 90,000.[3] The stadium's current record attendance was recorded in 1939, when 76,962 spectators watched the FA Cup semi-final between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Grimsby Town.

The ground has frequently hosted FA Cup semi-final matches as a neutral venue and several England international fixtures while the new Wembley Stadium was under construction. It also hosted matches at the 1966 FIFA World Cup and UEFA Euro 1996, as well as the 2003 UEFA Champions League Final. Aside from football-related uses, Old Trafford has hosted rugby league's Super League Grand Final since the league's adoption of playoffs in 1998 and the final of the 2000 Rugby League World Cup.

Casino Betting Strategies

The Rules - how to hang on to your chips and beat the casinos at their own game The best gamblers will tell you to stay away from the slot machines, where the house enjoys an edge of around 30 per cent, and indulge in proper games where you have at least the illusion of control.

Blackjack is the easiest to learn and offers the novice the best chance of success, with a 3-5 per cent house 'edge'. Poker is harder but can be the best value for money if you get the hang of it.

All the casinos will offer lessons in the table games - don't be shy about taking up their offer, the dealers will teach you to win. As the casinos rely on a fixed-profit margin they are interested in getting more people to play.
